SystemPulse for macOS
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
SystemPulse measures your Mac for you, not for us. Here is exactly what it keeps, where, and every connection it can make.
In short
SystemPulse does not collect personal data. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party code. What it measures stays on your Mac. Concept-Squad receives nothing from the app.
What stays on your Mac
- Readings and their history — processor, memory, network, storage and battery figures, in a database inside the app's own sandbox folder. You can see its size and delete it in Settings ▸ History.
- Settings and rules — your choices, stored with macOS's preferences for the app.
- The folder you choose for SafeClean and the inspectors — remembered as a macOS bookmark so you are asked once. Files in it are read where they are and are never copied anywhere.
- What the widgets show — a small file of current readings, shared only with the app's own widgets.
Every connection the app can make
The app contacts nothing on its own. These are the only connections it can make, and when:
- Your public IP address — only if you turn on Show public IP address (off by default). The app then asks
api.ipify.org, which sees your IP address as any website you visit does. - Network Doctor (Pro) — when you run a diagnosis, it opens connections to your own router on your network. Only if you turn on Check beyond the router (off by default) does it also connect to
9.9.9.9and look updns.quad9.net, run by the Quad9 foundation, to time the path beyond your network. - The App Store — buying or restoring Pro is handled by Apple. We do not see your payment details or Apple Account.
The App Store edition does not check for updates itself; the App Store does that.
Your files
SafeClean, App Inspector and Permission Inspector read the folder you choose, on your Mac, to show what uses space, what applications keep and what can start by itself. Nothing about your files leaves your Mac. SafeClean moves to the Trash only items you confirm, and deletes nothing permanently.
Exports and diagnostics
Exporting history or diagnostics creates a file where you choose. The diagnostics file describes the app and the Mac — version, macOS, processor and memory, rule count and which readings are available — and contains no names, serial numbers, file paths or history. It reaches us only if you send it to us.
If you write to us
If you email support@concept-squad.app or privacy@concept-squad.app, we use your address and what you write only to answer you, and do not share them.
Children
SystemPulse collects no data from anyone, children included.
Changes to this policy
If what the app does with data changes, this page changes with it and the date above is updated.
